It has to lead to dignity, reform, and collective progress. Over the years, we have tackled issues which affect the society deeply and worked towards creating a positive change through our interventions.

No Dowry Marriages (Hunda Bandi)

Every year, GVT conducts community mass weddings for couples from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with the basic support to lead their lives post marriage. The mass wedding was conducted in February 2026.
This initiative is to encourage community cohesiveness and improve social inclusion. A no dowry pledge is also echoed in the community to bring in transformation. This leads to - Stronger community unity Empowered women Reduced social unrest

No Suicide Pledge

In climate-stressed and socio-economically challenged areas, where poverty trap hold the progress of a larger faction of the society, there have been several cases of farmers committing suicide. At GVT we remain committed to help farmers and stand with them should to should to help them face their challenges. In all our public meetings, we relay our support for farmers and encourage a ‘No Suicide’ pledge to assure farmers of our unwavering support for them.

Healthcare

GVT under the name ‘Nation First’ has been helping people from socio-economically weaker sections of the society receive medical treatment at free of cost from hospitals under the government scheme. Several cases of adults and children suffering from cancer, requiring cardiac surgeries, kidney transplant, hemipledia treatment, burn injury treatment, etc. have been helped by the organisation by coordinating with the concerned hospitals and government department for medical assistance purposes.

Flood Relief

During times of distress, GVT has been the first to respond to the challenges of the people and our flood relief campaign is one such example wherein over 6,200 families across 34 villages were supported with 6 weeks worth of food and consumables. We represented their concerns with the Tehsil, District and State Administration and echoed their voices with the government to seek proper support.

Training & Empowerment

Krishikul Farmer Training Centre has provided training and guidance to over 19,000 farmers since its opening in October 2024. The centre has been working toward skilling farmers from across the country to improve their capabilities and understanding to improve their livelihood.
